Foothills Christian Athletics Complaint Process

To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we follow a two-step process to resolve concerns. Our goal is to address issues at the team level whenever possible, so we ask that you follow these steps in order.


Step 1: Contact the Coach

The coach is the first and most crucial point of contact. We require that you discuss your concern with them directly before contacting the Athletic Department.

  • Schedule a private meeting. Do not approach the coach before, during, or immediately after a practice or game.

  • Focus on facts. Center the discussion on the issue and your student’s experience, not on emotion.

  • Be prepared to listen. The goal is a constructive dialogue to find a solution.


Step 2: Submit a Complaint form to the Athletic Department

If you have already met with the coach and the issue remains unresolved, please submit the form below. The information will be sent directly to the Athletic Department.

  • Provide a summary. The form will ask you to explain the situation, the steps you have taken, and the date of your meeting with the coach.

  • The AD will mediate. The Athletic Director will review the form, communicate with all parties, and make a final determination based on school policy.

Ultimately, this process is designed to resolve issues efficiently and collaboratively, ensuring a positive and productive athletic experience for all of our student-athletes.
